VS123 Specifications
Note: The
software tool used to collect this data is included with the sensor purchase. It
allows you to gather data directly from the VS123 sensor to a
MICROSOFT EXCELŽ spreadsheet. This will be very helpful if you
need to debug mechanical control algorithm. You can analyze your mechanical system
with the help from Excel's tools in a snap!
- Gyroscope Noise Floor (estimated): 3 counts peak-to-peak. See conditions.
See Gyro X noise plot here.
See Gyro Y noise plot here.
See Gyro Z noise plot here.
- Accelerometer Noise Floor (estimated): 8 counts peak-to-peak. See conditions.
See Accelerometer X noise plot here.
See Accelerometer Y noise plot here.

- Here you can see the MICROSOFT EXCELŽ spreadsheet
with real data taken from the VS123 sensor.
The conditions used for this data are:
100Hz acquisition speed.
Internal digital filter = 3.
Gyros gain = 10 (6.7 counts = 1 deg/sec).
Accelerometers gain: 1 G = 700 counts.
Number of points 1000 (10 seconds).
Tool used: software example included with the sensor.
- Temperature drift of zero and gain: Not yet determined.
